She is co-founder, together with Enric Miralles (1955-2000), of EMBT Architects, as well as founder, director and president of the Fundaci\u00f3 Enric Miralles. She is known for emblematic works such as the New Scottish Parliament Building in Edinburgh 2004, the Santa Caterina Market in Barcelona 2005 and the Spanish Pavilion for the Shanghai Expo 2010. Her most recent works include the Church of San Giacomo Apostolo in Ferrara in 2019 and the K\u00e1lida Sant Pau Center &#8211; Part of the Maggie&#8217;s Center Network in Barcelona in 2019 and she directs numerous ongoing projects around the world.<br\/>She is a visiting professor at Harvard, Columbia, Yale, where she has taught in 2025, and ETSAB, among others, and serves on prestigious international award juries. His professional career is characterized by the integration of architecture and the management of social and cultural projects, intertwined with urban strategies and the design of spaces.
