Workshop | Fabian Llonch

During the workshop the students will have to design a new auditorium for Can Ricart and to understand the relationship between the building as an architectural entity, the site, and its culture.

Students should explore contemporary solutions for extending the building outward, creating an auditorium that can reinterpret the existing context, its history, and its architecture.

The goal is to leverage the geometrical and historical values of the existing architecture, as well as its compositional quality, integrating all necessary open and closed spaces, services, and installations required for a contemporary public building.
