Pavilion at the Marimurtra Botanical Garden

The main objective of this workshop was to design a new pavilion for the celebration of events in the Marimurtra Botanical Garden in Blanes. It was very important to understand the relationship between the building and the nature of its surroundings, so that the students could explore contemporary solutions for this new architectural piece that can reinterpret the existing context and its history but respond to the program.
The proposals had to capture how the students recognized the essence of this amazing botanical garden, being sustainable and respectful of nature and the place where it is to be built.
