Site-Scaping | Observation of the site as a creative process

Interactions was the series of workshops organized by the Fundació Enric Miralles in cooperation with other international research programs. The objective was to promote interactions between related programs by constituting a dynamic network of shared experiences.

In interaction with the study program of Accademia Adrianea (AA), the Fundació Enric Miralles creates Site-Scaping which is a week-long workshop that provides the tools to learn Miralles Tagliabue’s EMBT method, inviting students to participate in the most fundamental part of project design: the site study. These aspects will be translated into an empirically characteristic mode of representation of the way Enric Miralles and Benedetta Tagliabue learn from spaces and create new ones.

The end result will be an exhibition work in the space of the Fundació Enric Miralles that will not only attempt to illustrate the city in its complexity but also utilize the sensitive and creative design tools invented by Enric Miralles and Benedetta Tagliabue
