Inspiration and Process in Architecture

EMBT’s work is not a series, it is not to be understood through variants, it is not individual projects, but a whole object broken down in various places, situations, times, materials, styles and moments.

Inspiration and Process in Architecture has as its starting point the furniture designed by Enric Miralles for the house of Enric and Benedetta, his work support, the base where the creativity and ingenuity of his particular method was materialized. On the table, the continuity of the creative system that Benedetta Tagliabue has maintained at the head of the EMBT studio is shown through different tools and modes of representation, showing the discrete codes, repetitions and dialogues between the beginnings of the studio and the present day.

The projection of perspectives, the breakdown of the object on paper, its distortion through photomontages, its physical construction to then be deconstructed again, generates the constant conversation that unifies all the fragments of the projects in pieces of the same discourse.
