  • BENEDETTA TAGLIABUE

    President and Chief Executive Officer

    Internationally renowned architect. She is co-founder, together with Enric Miralles (1955-2000), of EMBT Architects, as well as founder, director and president of the Fundació Enric Miralles. She is known for emblematic works such as the New Scottish Parliament Building in Edinburgh 2004, the Santa Caterina Market in Barcelona 2005 and the Spanish Pavilion for the Shanghai Expo 2010. Her most recent works include the Church of San Giacomo Apostolo in Ferrara in 2019 and the Kálida Sant Pau Center – Part of the Maggie’s Center Network in Barcelona in 2019 and she directs numerous ongoing projects around the world.
    She is a visiting professor at Harvard, Columbia, Yale, where she has taught in 2025, and ETSAB, among others, and serves on prestigious international award juries. She has received several awards, including the RIBA Stirling and the Spanish National Award.

  • CRISTOPHER TAPIA

    Project Coordinator

    Architect specialized in urban design and territorial planning by ETSAB and IUAV in Venice. His professional career is characterized by the integration of architecture and the management of social and cultural projects, intertwined with urban strategies and the design of spaces. He joined the Fundació Enric Miralles in 2025 as project coordinator, collaborating in cultural, educational and research projects.
