ARCA Meetings | Contemporary Architectural Heritage
A meeting organized by the Fundació Enric Miralles and the Fundación de Arquitectura Contemporánea.
ARCA is an initiative promoted by the Contemporary Architecture Foundation (FAC) with the support of the General Directorate of Urban Agenda and Architecture (Ministry of Housing and Urban Agenda) and the collaboration of numerous reference entities, with the aim of promoting knowledge and social and legal recognition of contemporary architectural heritage, through the collective identification of architectural values that transcend their age, and the timely activation of mechanisms to ensure their transmission to future generations.
The Fundació Enric Miralles shows in this exhibition, with material from the Foundation’s original archive on the projects of the Círculo de Lectores Headquarters in Madrid and the Archery Facilities in Barcelona, its interest and participation in this initiative. An active reflection on the need to identify, care for and transmit their values at an early stage.
