Història del Moble Segles XXI i XXI

The Enric Miralles Foundation presents the course History of Furniture. Siglos XX y XXI, organized by the Association for the Study of Furniture.
The course reaches the fifth edition and for six months will animate in the showrooms of the Design Hub in Barcelona.
The twentieth century is considered a particularly interesting period for the history of furniture. The incessant economic, social and cultural changes deeply affected art, architecture and design, generating a scenario of unprecedented proposals.
On this occasion, the most innovative approaches of the complex period and the critical proposals of the course are specifically presented.
Benedetta Tagliabue, director of the architecture studio EMBT and president of the Enric Miralles Foundation, has an inaugural lecture exposing her vision of architecture and her experience in the drawing of spaces and furniture. She also personally explains the drawing process of the furniture drawn for her house, which reproduction is exhibited at the Enric Miralles Foundation.
